Summary
The Business Intern will provide support for Quality Improvement initiatives and projects. Following all HIPAA and data security requirements, the Intern will become familiar with the agency's record management system and survey software to assist with the implementation, data collection and analysis of consumer or staff surveys. Additional opportunities may involve presentation of the findings to the Agency Quality Improvement Committee and participating in departments gathering and analyzing data for new or ongoing projects and other reasonably related business duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Solid quantitative and qualitative analytical capabilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, and PowerPoint.
- Intermediate to advanced skill level with Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to handle confidential information and documents with discretion and according to GLSS policy and HIPAA guidelines.
- Ability to make proper judgments, good written and verbal skills, and ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships with staff members, consumers and partners.
- Ability to process information and make appropriate decisions based on specific situations and circumstances.
- Bilingual in Spanish or Russian is a plus.
Hours:
24 hours per week - September 2025 through January 2026
