Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available within a middle and high school setting, serving students in Life Skills classrooms. This contract position is ideal for a dedicated educator focused on making a meaningful impact in student development and learning.

Position Details:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Contract duration: current school year (CSY)
- Caseload options:1) Middle School: Grades 6-8 Life Skills Classroom2) High School: Grades 9-12 Life Skills Classroom
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students unique needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success academically and socially
- Deliver instruction in line with state and federal special education guidelines
- Monitor and report student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as necessary
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with students in Life Skills or similar special education classrooms
- Strong communication skills with students, parents, and educational staff
- Ability to create engaging, differentiated instructional plans
- Patience and adaptability in addressing diverse learning needs
