Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 special education teaching opportunity is available for licensed educators to support students with diverse learning needs. This contract position offers full-time hours (37.5/week, Monday through Friday) from August 25, 2025, through June 19, 2026, within a dynamic public school system in New Hampshire.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction to students across varying caseloads in special education settings.
Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet intensive developmental and behavioral needs.
Support students in inclusive and specialized intensive classrooms focusing on developmental delays and severe disabilities.
Maintain documentation and compliance with state and federal educational regulations.

Qualifications:

Active New Hampshire Special Education (SPED) license is mandatory.
Certification in intensive needs or demonstrated expertise in relevant caseloads preferred.
Willingness to work onsite full-time; hybrid or remote options may be considered but not guaranteed.
Experience with developmental delays and severe disabilities is highly desirable.
Candidates with Statements of Eligibility (SOE) are encouraged to apply; provisions to expedite licensure are available.
Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills to support student success.
