Job Title: Construction Superintendent
Position Overview:
A full-time Superintendent is needed for large industrial projects, including new energy, refining, chemicals, oil & gas, and manufacturing. This role requires managing day-to-day field operations, ensuring high-quality work, and maintaining a safe and efficient job site. The Superintendent will lead site activities, coordinate subcontractors, and uphold project standards while fostering a professional and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and maintain effective working relationships on-site.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring compliance with contracts, drawings, and specifications.
- Assist in developing on-site procedures and reviewing design documents for deficiencies.
- Support project scheduling and ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Plan and enforce quality control, safety, and security measures.
- Monitor and coordinate subcontractor activities and project resources.
- Ensure all required permits, licenses, and safety documentation are in place before work begins.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent in industrial or commercial construction.
- Hands-on experience in new builds, ground-up construction, and renovations.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and strong knowledge of project cost analysis.
- Experience with construction management software and scheduling tools.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead daily meetings and ensure project goals are met.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to manage digital documentation and reports.
