Position Overview
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager for Global Service, the Commercial Manager is responsible for all aspects of the customer Commercial relationship after initial site commissioning. The person in this position must have a passion for negotiating new long-term service agreements with LGES Vertech’s growing base of new customers. In addition, this person will cultivate and maintain relationships with Vertech’s install base customers and by managing all levels of customer relationships both commercial and technical, throughout the product lifecycle. The Service Commercial Manger will also be responsible for development and closure of post commissioning revenue opportunities for items including (but not limited to) O&M extensions, software licensing agreements, post warranty service requests, and any other site customizations, upgrades and/or energy augmentation, thereby having a direct impact on future business opportunities with Vertech’s customers.
Primary Responsibilities
- Negotiating long-term service agreements in collaboration with Contracts Management, Legal, and Sales that will deliver a positive P&L
- Proactively manage customer accounts with an emphasis on creating excellent customer experience throughout the lifecycle of the product with minimal supervision.
- Support Field Service in understanding LGES Vertech’s LTSA obligations
- Identify key customer needs and present technical and commercial business proposals that address these needs.
- Work with the Service management to develop customer relationship plans including critical accounts, commercial opportunities, and service revenue forecasts.
- Support Vertech’s participation at trade events as needed.

- Superior written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly communicate technical and commercial issues.
- Excellent presentation skills are essential.
Education/Experience
- 3+ years of experience in a service commercial role, ideally within a large market-leading company.
- Experience within the energy/electrical power industry would be a distinct advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
This position requires 10% travel to LGES Vertech North American headquarters and other global locations.
