About the Opportunity

A well-established private trust company is seeking an experienced Director of Compliance to lead regulatory compliance and support trust administration. This is a high-impact role where you’ll oversee compliance with federal and state laws, guide senior leadership on regulatory matters, and mentor a team of Trust Administrators.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead compliance efforts related to BSA, AML, OFAC, and other financial regulations
  • Provide legal and regulatory guidance to senior management
  • Develop and enforce company compliance policies
  • Conduct compliance risk assessments and annual reviews
  • Mentor and support Trust Administrators on compliance matters
  • Liaise with the Trust Committee and oversee reporting/documentation
  • Monitor for suspicious activity and manage SAR investigations


What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of trust administration and financial regulatory compliance (preferably in a legal capacity)
  • CTFA or JD required
  • Deep knowledge of BSA, AML, and related regulations
  • Managerial experience with proven leadership skills
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities


Work Environment

  • Manchester, NH office
  • Hybrid after 90 days (NH residents only)
  • MA residents: in-office 5 days/week due to tax requirements
  • Wednesdays required in-office
  • Occasional travel to Boston office may be required
