Job SummaryThe Truck Loader plays a key role in the warehouse operations by efficiently loading delivery trucks and supporting a range of warehouse activities. These include unloading incoming shipments, receiving materials, and maintaining accurate inventory records to ensure smooth and organized operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Load delivery trucks in a timely and organized manner to ensure safe transport of goods.
- Assist with unloading incoming shipments and verifying received items.
- Support warehouse inventory management by maintaining accurate inventory counts.
- Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and organized at all times.
- Follow company safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical labor.
- Basic math and reading skills to follow instructions and complete inventory logs.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Familiarity with inventory systems or handheld scanners.
Certifications
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
