SY25 Full-Time School Psychologist - Salem, NH
Salem School District is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Full-Time School Psychologist to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. This onsite role involves supporting students across 1 to 4 school locations, with a caseload to be determined based on district needs. The position requires flexibility in schedulingand demands strong collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals to promote student success.

Work Schedule: Onsite only; hours may vary (approximate schedule: 7:30 AM 3:30 PM)
Caseload: To be determined
Locations: Serving 1 to 4 school buildings
Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student strengths and areas of need.

Provide individual and group counseling and interventions to support social-emotional and behavioral growth.

Collaborate with school staff, families, and external agencies to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans.

Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional expertise toward student support strategies.

Assist with crisis intervention and participate in school-wide mental health initiatives.

Maintain detailed, confidential records in compliance with district and state policies.

Adapt work hours as needed to accommodate varied school schedules and meetings across multiple locations.
Qualifications:

Valid New Hampshire certification or license as a School Psychologist.

Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field.

Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings preferred.

Ability to manage a flexible schedule and caseload across multiple buildings.

Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments.
