Assistant General Manager – High-Volume Restaurant ($19–$21/hr)
Location: Framingham, MA (680 Worcester Rd)
Pay: $19–$21/hour (based on experience)
We are hiring a hands-on Assistant General Manager to support daily operations at a busy, high-volume restaurant in Framingham. This role is ideal for a driven leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, takes ownership of their shifts, and is serious about growth and accountability.
What You’ll Do
- Lead shifts with a strong on-the-floor presence
- Direct and motivate team members during high-volume periods
- Maintain punctuality, accountability, and execution standards
- Assist with scheduling, cash handling, and light inventory
- Coach and develop team members and future shift leaders
- Address performance issues directly and professionally
- Help stabilize operations and strengthen leadership coverage
Schedule & Availability
- 45–50 hours per week
- 9-hour shifts
- Heavy nights and weekend availability required
- Open availability between 10:30am–1:00am, 7 days/week
- Expect to work 4 nights per week
What We’re Looking For
Required
- Some management experience (Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, or AGM)
- Experience in higher-volume restaurants strongly preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable
- Comfortable being direct and holding others accountable
- Proactive decision-maker (not reactive)
Pay & Benefits
- $19–$21/hour, based on experience
- No bonus at the AGM level
- Company pays 50% of health insurance premiums
- 401(k) eligibility available immediately
- Training gas stipend: $100 every two weeks
- Training period: 4–6 weeks, based on experience
