Opportunity
Cyrus Holding Corporation seeks a dynamic Assistant Property Manager to be responsible for assisting with the overall property management of a Class-A mixed-use apartment building in Boston, MA. This position is responsible for portions of asset operations of the building and reports to the General Manager. The right candidate will have experience with a Class-A, stabilized multi-family property. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Leasing Manager or new Assistant Property Manager ready to take the next step in their career. This position includes on-site housing.

Essential Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development:
- Lead by example, fostering teamwork, collaboration, and mutual respect.
- Support the professional growth of other on-site team members.
- Remain in compliance with company standard operating procedures, as well as federal and local regulations.
Financial & Budget Management:
- Assist in managing the financial performance of the property, ensuring accuracy in reporting to senior management.
- Assist in creating the annual asset budget and work to meet financial goals.
- Process payments, rent collections, and affordable housing RAFT fund applications as needed.
Leasing, Marketing & Resident Relations:
- Perform all leasing, sales, and marketing efforts to maintain occupancy and retention goals, supporting by the General Manager.
- Conduct apartment tours and lease units to prospective residents.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive marketplace and make recommendations for pricing or marketing strategy adjustments.
- Provide superior customer service, ensuring resident satisfaction is reflected in ratings, reviews, and retention analytics.
Property Operations & Maintenance:
- Ensure the highest standards of property upkeep and turnover for new residents.
- Work closely with maintenance teams and vendors to complete repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Conduct regular property inspections to maintain the community’s high standards.
Skills & Experience
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Minimum two years’ experience in leasing or as an assistant property manager.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Experience with property management software (Yardi experience preferred).
- Strong ability to lead, engage, and motivate teams (prior supervision experience a plus but not required).
- Some financial and budget management experience with a focus on revenue generation.
- Strong customer service skills and a proven track record in tenant relations.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations and the ability to enforce them.
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Four-year college degree preferred.
- Industry certifications a plus but not required.
