We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk on a contract basis in Rutland, VT. In this role, you will support the IT leadership team by managing administrative tasks, coordinating meetings and travel, and assisting with inventory orders and expense processes. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy.


Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory orders for the IT department, ensuring timely and accurate procurement.

• Assist with processing travel and expense reports in compliance with company policies.

• Facilitate purchase order creation and monitor their progress through completion.

• Schedule and coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and other administrative tasks for the IT leadership team.

• Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records and documentation.

• Handle invoice processing with precision and attention to detail.

• Provide administrative support to ensure seamless operations within the department.

• Collaborate with team members to address day-to-day operational needs.

• Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial and administrative records.

• Maintain an organized filing system for documents and reports.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting or administrative role.
• Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy.
• Familiarity with invoice processing and related financial tasks.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and vendors.
• Competence in handling travel arrangements and expense submissions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and office software.
