Assistant Center Director
Location: The Learning Experience Foxboro, MA
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay: $48,000 $60,000 per year, based on experience and credentials
Credential Required: Director I and Director II
The Learning Experience Foxboro is seeking an experienced Assistant Center Director to support daily operations, lead teachers, and ensure excellence in early childhood education. This leadership role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced childcare environment and is passionate about team development and program quality.
Role Responsibilities
People Leadership
- Recruit, interview, and schedule teaching staff
- Conduct classroom observations and provide coaching and performance feedback
- Ensure consistent implementation of the L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Create weekly staff schedules and maintain classroom ratio compliance
- Support teacher growth through mentoring and ongoing development
- Manage employee documentation in accordance with Massachusetts EEC regulations
Center Management
- Maintain daily compliance with all Massachusetts licensing requirements
- Partner with the Center Director to support enrollment growth and family engagement
- Promote a positive, professional, and collaborative center culture
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of early childhood leadership experience (2+ preferred)
- Professional teaching experience with infants through preschool
- Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Director I and Director II credentials required
- Strong knowledge of Massachusetts EEC licensing standards
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
