Status: Full-time, exempt
Location: Hybrid to Boston, MA or Remote
Compensation: $45,000-$60,000 Base (commensurate with experience, bonus eligible)
Reports to: Director of Engagement
Who we are:
Intent Clinical offers a continuum of services to guide individuals and families through the behavioral health industry by providing concierge-level care, identifying suitable treatment and aftercare options, and assist in creating and implementing sustainable recovery plans. We help address the needs of those struggling with behavioral health issues including substance use disorders, mental health issues, eating disorders, and mood and personality disorders. We also support individuals on the autism spectrum, aging adults with dementia and young adults who are struggling with transitions to independence.
Who you are:
You're a proactive and motivated Business Development Representative ready to support lead generation and drive new business initiatives for our core behavioral health services—designed for individuals, families, and our growing Employer Services division. In this role, you'll focus on identifying and qualifying new leads, securing introductory meetings, and supporting our outreach efforts. Although you won’t be leading calls or managing client relationships directly, your work will be crucial in driving growth by connecting potential clients with the appropriate internal teams.
What you’ll do:
- Research and identify potential referral sources, client leads, and employer prospects.
- Generate and qualify new leads through various channels including original market research, email outreach, and cold calling.
- Initiate outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to generate qualified meetings.
- Maintain and manage a pipeline of leads in CRM.
- Collaborate with leadership to refine outreach strategy and messaging.
- Research speaking opportunities at relevant conferences, non-profits, and other associations.
- Set qualified appointments for the clinical intake team (individual/family services) and the employer services team.
- Stay current on industry trends related to employers and specific to mental health and well-being issues and needs.
- Maintain business development processes, including keeping Salesforce and other relevant systems up-to-date.
- Additional duties assigned as deemed appropriate.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 1+ year of experience in a business development, outreach, or sales support role.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable with outreach tools, CRM systems, and lead tracking such as Salesforce.
- Mission-aligned with the importance of access to behavioral health services
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-volume, and results-driven environment.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team.
- Ability to think big-picture while remaining detail-oriented and organized.
- Comfort and quick learning curve with technology on day-to-day tasks (i.e. Microsoft Office, Salesforce)
Nice to have:
- Experience within a healthcare or behavioral health organization.
- Experience working with high-net worth clients.
- Demonstrated engagement in community service initiatives, particularly those focused on underserved communities.
- An understanding of social responsibility and how to contribute positively to the well-being of others.
