Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls. Assist in the preparation for external audits and coordinate with auditors to ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Act as a liaison between the accounting department and other teams (e.g., production, operations, procurement) to gather insights and data that impact financial reporting and cost management.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and financial analysis in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (advanced skills).
  • Experience with ERP systems (such as AS400, SAP, Oracle, or other manufacturing-related software).
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and communicate findings to senior management.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on process improvement and cost optimization.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a high-volume or multi-site manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing standards, including standard costing, labor allocation, and overhead allocation.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, etc.) and experience with financial modeling.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to manufacturing.

Work Environment:
