Job Summary:
The Business Analyst – Mastery will collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to understand and enhance complex business processes. The role involves analyzing requirements, providing solution recommendations, and supporting the full end-to-end lifecycle of process improvements across financial products and systems.Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand, document, and maintain business requirements including challenges, issues, and success criteria.
  • Assess feasibility with project teams and support solution development.
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders on viable solution options.
  • Drive the full execution of end-to-end project lifecycles.
  • Deliver regular status updates to stakeholders and project leadership.
  • Build partnerships with business stakeholders as a subject matter expert.
  • Understand end-to-end processes, cross-functional impacts, and dependencies.
  • Lead use case formulation and document functional/non-functional requirements.
  • Share industry best practices and provide process expertise.
  • Assess administrative system impacts and plan appropriately for changes.
  • Collaborate with peer teams and provide tactical support when needed.
  • Coordinate and collaborate across Product, enterprise technology, and business units.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in Life Insurance

Nice-to-Have Experience:

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Strong understanding of financial services (life insurance and retail annuities)
  • Experience as a technical liaison between business partners, IT teams, and third-party vendors
  • Ability to creatively research and resolve issues to meet objectives and long-term strategy
  • Leadership experience across both business and technical functions
  • Ability to work autonomously and navigate ambiguity
  • Experience influencing decisions with senior management, business, and IT stakeholders
  • Strong multitasking ability and adaptability to change
  • Demonstrated ownership of projects with a track record of driving to completion
  • Ability to identify and support process improvements
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; detail-oriented
