We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction plumbing, pipe threading, and working on various construction sites. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require technical expertise and hands-on problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Perform pipe threading, cutting, fitting, and assembly for various plumbing applications
- Conduct remodeling tasks involving plumbing components and assist with construction site projects
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with existing plumbing systems and recommend solutions
- Heavy lifting of materials and equipment required for installation or repairs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards
Skills
- Proven experience in construction plumbing, including pipe threading, assembly, and remodeling projects
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
- Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety protocols
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations or repairs
- Carpentry skills beneficial for framing or structural adjustments related to plumbing work
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
- Construction site experience including familiarity with schematics and remodeling processes
- Driving license or maintenance person experience is a plus but not required
