Construction Manager/Site Superintendent
Position Overview
We are a developer who is going to serve as our own GC for the rehab construction of an old mill building in Worcester. We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager/ Site Superintendent to oversee and manage a $50M multifamily rehab in a historical building out in Worcester from inception to completion. You will ensure that project is completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with the required quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have multi-family experience (40-100 Units)
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate construction activities on-site to ensure efficient project execution.
- Supervise construction teams and subcontractors to maintain high-quality workmanship.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring all work is completed on schedule and within financial constraints.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Serve as the onsite superintendent through the project construction
- Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and contractors.
- Implement risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential project risks.
- Prepare and maintain accurate construction documentation and reports.
- Lead regular project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions with the team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or Site Superintendent with a strong understanding of construction management principles.
- Experience with multi-family rehab, construction
- Proficient in project management skills, including scheduling and budgeting.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards in construction.
- Experience as a superintendent
- Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively lead diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to navigate project challenges.
- Familiarity with building codes, construction documentation, and contract administration.
