Job Description

Worship Leader Roles and Responsibilities ($25/hour – 12 hours/week)

Worship Team Scheduling (1 hour)
Coordinates and schedules worship team members, ensuring balanced rotations of vocalists and musicians. Utilizes Planning Center to streamline scheduling, communicate expectations, and provide team preparedness.

Worship Service Execution (3.5 hours)
Leads and facilitates engaging worship experiences that align with the church’s service plan. Ensure seamless service flow, musical transitions, and overall worship set execution. Reviews the weekly production video provided by the Creative Director to assess service flow, musical transitions, and overall worship details.

Worship Team Leadership & Development (3 hours)

Recruits, trains, and mentors worship team members, fostering musical excellence and spiritual growth. Leads rehearsals, provides coaching, and creates development opportunities to strengthen team unity and worship culture. Ensures worship vocalists and musicians are equipped to lead confidently and effectively.

Campus Engagement & Leadership Alignment (1.5 hours)

Actively participates in bi-weekly campus meeting and worship leader meeting. Functions to align the worship ministry with the overall mission & vision of the church. Dotted-line reports to the Campus Pastor, ensuring strong communication and collaboration between the worship team and campus leadership.

Personal Development & Rehearsal (3 hours)

Commit to regular personal practice and preparation outside of scheduled rehearsals to ensure musical excellence and readiness.

Equipment & Systems Management

Maintains and oversees worship equipment, including instruments, microphones, and in-ear monitors. Ensures all equipment is maintained correctly, troubleshoots technical issues, and coordinates with the Worship Director for repairs or upgrade requests.
