Job Description

The Dorel Juvenile Creative Brand Design team is seeking a creative and passionate Senior Brand Designer who is interested in working at a fast pace, with a collaborative team, on extremely exciting brands. The Senior Brand Designer will be influential in elevating our brand presence through compelling visual storytelling and strategic design.


In this role, you will be responsible for creating holistic brand collateral across multiple touchpoints, including print, digital, and environmental design. You will play a key role in shaping the look and feel of our brands by planning and designing for photoshoots, events, tradeshows, and merchandising displays, ensuring a cohesive and impactful brand experience.


A strong portfolio showcasing print, digital, and environmental design is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities


Work closely with creative leadership and cross-functional brand marketing, marketing operations, copy, packaging, and product partners to:


  • Develop brand DNA
  • Create global brand assets
  • Create materials and guides to ensure consistent messaging
  • Design of logos and iconography
  • Organize and execute photo and video shoots
  • Develop beautifully designed brand collateral
  • Design of tradeshow environments and associated assets
  • Achieve key milestones/delivery dates
  • Ensure alignment with cross functional teams
  • Explore and present trend research


Education, Experience and Skills


  • B.F.A. in Graphic Design or Fine Arts; or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in related industry
  • Strong understanding of Dorel’s brand portfolio
  • High level of creativity, passion and integrity
  • Strong knowledge of event design, including tradeshow layout and design
  • Strong knowledge of retail and merchandising design
  • Strong knowledge and involvement in photoshoots, including organizing, planning, and executing
  • Highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
  • Strong independent work ethic balanced with creative collaboration skills
  • Organized and able to multi-task in a high-volume environment
  • Ability to negotiate with vendors
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to thrive in a quickly changing environment
  • Provide clear communication and ensure approval process protocols are adhered to
  • Other duties as required
