Position Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize and implement the daily program and curriculum at the branch for your site (during school hours)
• Adhere school site program to NH Child Care Licensing regulations and maintain appropriate files
• Implement our Character Development curriculum components and role model Y core values
• Attend weekly site director meetings, workshops, Y trainings, etc.
• Supervise, train and mentor site staff and assigned volunteers
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with school/administrative staff and parents
• Working no school days, vacation week programs, and working our summer camp

Position Specifics:

• Full Time employment
• Monday – Friday 7:00a-6:00p
• Merrimack /Concord Programs
• $18+

Qualifications:
Must be at least 20 years of age, have a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma, and have at least one of the following:

• A bachelor’s degree in elementary education or recreation, awarded by a regionally accredited college or university;
• An associate’s degree in early childhood education, awarded by a regionally accredited college or university;
• Certification of successful completion of training as a recreation director plus 1000 hours experience working with children in a licensed child care program, recreation program or elementary school;
• A total of 12 credits in early childhood education, human growth and development, education or recreation, from a regionally accredited college plus 1000 hours of experience working with children
