Location: Brookline, NH
School Site: Captain Samuel Douglass Academy
Start Date: As soon as possible
End Date: June 17, 2026
Schedule: Full-Time | 32.5 hours per week
Daily Hours: 8:35 AM 3:10 PM

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a qualified and dependable Paraprofessional to support a Life Skills classroom in a school-based setting in Brookline, NH. This is a full-time position for the upcoming school year, providing direct support to students with special needs in both academic and behavioral capacities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide instructional and behavioral support to students within a Life Skills classroom

  • Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and individualized education programs (IEPs)

  • Support students with daily routines and activities

  • Adapt to classroom changes or reassignment as needed

  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment

  • Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and students

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)

  • Prior paraprofessional or child-related experience in a professional setting

  • Experience working with special education (SPED) populations preferred

  • Comfortable working in Life Skills or other specialized classroom environments

  • Must be flexible to accommodate classroom or staffing changes

  • Must have at least one completed professional reference before submission

  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Able to complete and pass district-specific fingerprinting requirements

  • Must be able to pass all district and agency onboarding processes

  • Must be available for a Zoom interview prior to hire

Work Environment:

  • School-based, on-site only
