2nd Shift Fulfillment Group Lead (Picker Lead)
Location: Framingham, MA
Compensation: $27.00 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday–Friday)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable 2nd Shift Group Lead to oversee a team of fulfillment associates in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on picking experience and a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving and inventory control. This is a working lead position with supervisory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate a team of fulfillment associates during the 2nd shift
- Act as the primary point of contact for team workflow and task delegation
- Monitor daily picking and fulfillment operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Train new employees and provide ongoing guidance to team members
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and best practices
- Support receiving and inventory tasks as needed
- Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and other department leads
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse and receiving experience
- Prior experience in a lead, supervisor, or team coordinator role
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a team
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
