Company is a Massachusetts-based general contracting company specializing in athletic field construction, public parks, and large-scale recreational facilities. With over 30 years of experience, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality projects for municipalities and state agencies throughout the region. We are seeking an experienced and reliable Construction Foreman to join our team and oversee field operations. This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and ready to lead crews in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment. We work mostly in the Massachusetts area with the occasional project in NH, RI or CT. Site truck to be provided.
Qualifications

Minimum 5-10 years of experience in construction supervision or foreman role

Strong knowledge of sitework, civil construction, and utility installation

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Proficient in managing crews, coordinating subcontractors, and organizing daily site activities

OSHA 30 certification required

Valid driver's license and Massachusetts Hoisting License (or equivalent operating license) required

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Experience with athletic field or park construction is a plus

Familiarity with GPS layout tools and total stations preferred
Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of field crews and subcontractors

Ensure project is completed on schedule, within budget, and to company quality standards

Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized job site

Communicate project progress and issues to project managers and company leadership

Manage deliveries, material tracking, and equipment logistics on-site

Interpret and execute construction plans, ensuring compliance with project specifications

Resolve on-site issues and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines

Maintain accurate daily reports and job documentation
