Job Description
Summary
RCCC is a non-profit, licensed Early Childhood Education program based in Middlebury, Vermont. Founded in response to Vermont’s ongoing child care crisis, RCCC is committed to providing high-quality care and meaningful learning experiences for up to 24 children and their families from Addison County and surrounding areas.
Our approach to education is play-based, allowing children to learn through hands-on experiences tailored to their interests and developmental stages. We create inclusive, supportive, and responsive learning environments that recognize and celebrate the unique needs and abilities of every child.
At RCCC, we are a school of belonging. We are dedicated to ensuring that every child and family feels welcome, included, and supported throughout their early childhood journey. We believe that raising children is a community effort, and we strive to build a strong village of families and community members—a space where all voices are heard, all people are valued, and all children thrive.
As Early Childhood professionals, we know that we cannot achieve our goal without a team of dedicated, passionate, and caring educators to join us. In joining our team, you will not only be contributing to the greater Addison County community, but joining an establishment that understands early childhood educators are professionals deserving of a high quality work environment, work-life balance, opportunities and support for personal and professional growth and development, and genuine recognition for the work that they do.
