Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed Massachusetts School Psychologist is needed to support high school students in Springfield, MA. This full-time contract position runs through June 25, 2026, and offers the opportunity to apply specialized psychological skills to foster student success within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessment, intervention, and consultation, to support student development
- Collaborate with educators and school staff to develop individual student support plans
- Conduct counseling sessions and crisis interventions as needed
- Assist in implementing programs that promote positive student behaviors and academic achievement
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts School Psychologist license (submission of license screenshot required)
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with high school students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills tailored to diverse student populations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary school teams
- Reliable transportation and availability for full-time hours (35 hrs/week)
- Willingness to complete Springfield CORI and fingerprint background checks promptly
