Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An educational opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to provide essential support across Grades K-12 in a dynamic school environment located in Westfield, MA. This contract role spans from January 2026 through June 2026, offering a 30 to 37.5-hour workweek over five days. The position focuses on delivering specialized instruction within self-contained, resource, and special day classrooms.

Qualifications:

Active State License in Special Education required
Experience working with students in Grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 preferred
Ability to manage diverse student caseloads and tailor instruction to individual needs

Responsibilities:

Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for a varied K-12 student caseload
Collaborate with staff and families to support student development and accommodations
Manage classroom environments that promote learning and inclusivity for special education students
Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with educational standards and regulations
