Role Description
The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is responsible for leading the company’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. This role provides actionable insights to support strategic decision-making, optimize business performance, and drive financial discipline across the organization. The FP&A Manager collaborates closely with business leaders, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to translate data into meaningful business insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly/annual forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
- Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and variance analysis to the executive team.
- Partner with business units to develop financial models, evaluate business cases, and support strategic initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop metrics to track business performance.
- Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and reporting systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure financial planning and reporting compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Mentor and develop Jr. Accountants or other finance team members, fostering a high-performing team environment.
Qualifications:
- BSc/MSc degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience with NetSuite is required.
- Advanced Excel skills: experience with ERP/financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial data for business decision-making.
- Professional certifications such as CMA or CPA are a plus.
- Experience in the construction or service industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with financial software such as SAP and data visualization tools like Power BI is a plus.
- Knowledge of or experience with mergers, acquisitions, and related financial analysis is a plus.
- Strong leadership, team management, and project management capabilities.
- Fluent in English required.
