Blazer Jobs is proud to partner with the Westwood School District to hire a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for an onsite, part-time position for the 20252026 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with students across a K12 caseload, providing meaningful support and specialized instruction.

Position Details:

• Location: Westwood, MA (onsite only)

• Schedule: 2 days/week (8:00 AM 3:00 PM); Flexible day selection

• Start/End Dates: 09/02/2025 06/16/2026

• Hours: 15 hours/week

• Pay: $40$45/hour (based on experience)

• Renewal: Renewal for the following school year is based on performance and district needs

Daily Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct TVI services to students in accordance with IEP goals

• Conduct assessments and evaluations of visual impairments

• Provide consultative support to general and special education staff

• Adapt classroom materials to accommodate visual needs

• Collaborate with families, support teams, and related service providers

State Requirements:

• Valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) license as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired

• Experience working with students across K12 populations preferred

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
