We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This is a long-term contract position, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced, organized and dynamic environment. The role involves supporting a variety of administrative tasks with a focus on tax-related projects and business consulting activities.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and send engagement letters to clients prior to the tax season.
• Manage administrative duties related to tax processes, business trusts, consulting, and insurance.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries efficiently.
• Perform accurate data entry to maintain organized records and documentation.
• Respond to email correspondence in a timely and efficient manner.
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, to create reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and project execution.
• Maintain a neat appearance and demeanor while interacting with clients and colleagues.
• Use Adobe and other software tools to complete administrative tasks effectively.
• Adapt to changing priorities and maintain flexibility in managing workload.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar administrative role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to handle calls and email correspondence.
• Exceptional organizational abilities for managing multiple tasks and maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous experience in an accounting firm or related industry is preferred.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes.
• Detail-oriented with an appearance suitable for client-facing interactions
