How you will make an impact…
We are looking for a Product Management Director to join our Network Experience product organization. In this senior individual contributor role, you’ll shape the strategy and development of our technical solutions, driving product direction through influence, collaboration, and expertise—without direct line management responsibilities.
As the voice of the customer, you will define the product roadmap and market requirements for our NXG technical solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with customers and internal stakeholders to gather insights, ensuring the roadmap is tightly aligned with our broader Product Management strategy.
As a product management leader, you’ll champion best practices across the full product life cycle—from idea to delivery—while working closely with Engineering and Data Science leaders to optimize how our cross-functional Squads deliver value.
The successful candidate will bring strong knowledge of Mobile Network infrastructure and performance, along with expertise in data and analytics. You know how to translate big data into meaningful insights that help shape the future of Opensignal’s solutions.
What you will be doing
- Lead product ownership for the NXG Network Performance and Technical Solutions suite.
- Define product roadmap and requirements in line with customer insights and stakeholder priorities.
- Collaborate with Product and Program Management to ensure the most valuable features are prioritized.
- Ensure strong product–market fit and lead go-to-market plans.
- Translate business questions and customer needs into clear, measurable requirements (e.g., JIRA) to guide delivery teams.
- Drive cross-functional efforts, ensuring clarity on the importance of key deliverables.
- Prioritize continuously to achieve the fastest time to market with maximum impact.
- Build trusted relationships with customers, stakeholders, and peers to help execute company growth strategy.
- Apply product management best practices in close collaboration with Engineering and Data Science in an agile environment.
You might be a fit if you can demonstrate experience on the following:
- 10+ years of proven Product Management experience, applying best practices (e.g., requirements in JIRA) across the full product life cycle.
- Telecom industry experience, ideally with vendors of analytics products for MNO CTO organizations or Tower Companies, and experience in software development.
- Proven experience developing new analytics products in start-up like environments; working closely with Data Scientists and Engineers in a cross-functional delivery teams to drive the implementation of complex methodologies
- Translating big data into actionable insights.
- Balancing technical innovation with commercial business requirements.
- Exemplary organisational and planning skills, uncompromising attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects with a winning can-do attitude.
- Applying critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills in complex situations.
- Communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Thriving in small to mid-size, fast-paced technology companie with good understanding of the unique challenges associated with realizing global ambitions with limited resources
- Working effectively in a remote, distributed timezone and team environment through digital collaboration.
Nice to have’s
- AI and predictive analysis product development (a strong plus).
- Partnering with technical teams, even if you don’t have an engineering degree—your strong data/analytics background enables you to lead technical teams to deliver on product requirements defined by product management
