Bog Iron Brewing is seeking a “Second in Command” to join our kitchen! We have a fast-paced but still laid back and family-like atmosphere and are in need of a qualified candidate to come in and aid in operation of a our small but growing, vitally important kitchen.
Hours would be Weds, Friday and Saturday evenings.
Responsibilities:
- Help oversee day-to-day culinary operations
- Coordinate food and kitchenware orders
- Check freshness and quality of ingredients
- Assist in the development of menu items
- Standardize recipes and plate presentations
- Work with management to continually improve the menu
- Aid in building out and managing a small kitchen staff
Requirements:
- Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking, or other related fields
- Passion for food and cooking techniques
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- ServSafe certified preferred
