Entry-Level Kit Packaging Technician (2 Openings) | Second Shift | Billerica, MA
A leader in pharmaceutical diagnostics, is immediately hiring for two highly detail-oriented Kit Packaging Technicians to join our Global Manufacturing & Supply team in Billerica, MA. This is an entry-level role, perfect for dedicated individuals looking to start a career in a regulated, cGMP environment.
The Role: You will be primarily responsible for the labeling and packaging of vital pharmaceuticals for world-wide distribution. This critical function includes the manual and automated labeling operations, as well as the visual inspection of filled vials to ensure the highest standards of quality (pharmaceutical elegance). You will follow strict departmental SOP’s and manufacturing batch records, actively supporting a robust cGMP work environment and a strong safety culture. Success in this role requires a fast-paced work ethic combined with exceptional attention to detail.
salary: $24 - $28 per hour
shift: Second
work hours: 4 PM - 1 AM
education: High School
Responsibilities
- Executing manual and automated labeling and packaging of pharmaceutical kits.
- Performing meticulous visual inspection of filled vials for irregularities or defects.
- Completing all relevant paperwork following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and cGMP guidelines.
- Demonstrating knowledge of basic cGMP concepts (area clearances, product accountability, label control).
- Actively participating in continuous improvement teams and supporting team objectives.
