Position Overview:

The School of Nursing & Health Sciences seeks adjunct faculty to teach two Introduction to Nutrition courses for Fall semester 2025. The meeting times and other info are as follows:

  • HSC2300-B (Intro to Nutritional Sciences): Monday/Wednesday/Friday – 12:30-1:45PM. 9/12/2025-12/19/2025. Location: Main Campus – Crowe Hall, Room 312.

  • HSC2300-C (Intro to Nutritional Sciences): Tuesday/Thursday – 12:00-1:50PM. 9/12/2025-12/19/2025. Location: Main Campus – Crowe Hall, Room 311.

HSC2300 is mainly catered to Sophomore health science majors and expected enrollment is between 30-40 students per section, but may exceed this number.

Responsibilities:

Duties include delivering lecture instruction in a classroom setting, providing the students with a comprehensive syllabus, administering exams, and grading students’ assignments. Dedication to broaden the education of students and expand their knowledge of nutrition is expected.


Position Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Nutrition or related field with an emphasis in wellness and health; applicants with Master's Degree will be considered. At least two years of college teaching experience is strongly recommended of candidates applying with a Master's.

Work Location

This is an on-campus position. Applicants will be required to teach in-person following the academic calendar for the course.
