We are committed to excellence at every level, and we’re looking for a Regional Director of Operations to lead performance, culture, and growth across our corporate stores.
Mission
The Regional Director of Operations is both a performance driver and cultural ambassador. You will inspire and develop multi-unit teams, ensure operational consistency, and close performance gaps through hands-on leadership, coaching, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Field Leadership & Development
- Directly manage and mentor Store Managers and Area Managers across multiple units.
- Conduct weekly 1:1s, monthly field visits, and performance coaching.
- Build scorecards tied to KPIs and leadership behaviors.
- Identify and develop high-potential leaders for succession planning.
Operational Excellence & Audits
- Spend 2–3 days per week in the field conducting store visits.
- Use standardized audit tools to evaluate cleanliness, food quality, service, labor, and facility readiness.
- Deliver recaps with action plans to Store and Area Managers.
Performance Management
- Monitor KPI dashboards (sales, EBITDA, labor %, food cost, turnover, mystery shops).
- Implement rapid-turnaround strategies for underperforming stores.
- Track progress with 30/60/90-day action plans.
Compliance & Brand Standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety, labor laws, and brand standards.
- Partner with Training & Culture teams on SOPs and retraining.
- Conduct surprise audits and coordinate third-party evaluations.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with Training, Finance, and Tech teams to roll out new systems and initiatives.
- Represent field operations in corporate strategy discussions.
Requirements:
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-unit leadership experience in restaurants, QSR, or retail.
- Proven track record of improving underperforming stores and driving sales growth.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using KPIs and P&L data to make decisions.
- Hands-on leadership style with ability to coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; thrives in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
- Willingness to travel extensively across assigned markets.
