Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process and final weld inspections in accordance with applicable codes and specifications
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and customer specifications
- Develop detailed weld maps using internal layouts and customer-supplied drawings
- Generate comprehensive weld inspection reports including: Itemized weld joints and seams, Material and filler certifications, Welder certifications and activity reports
- WPS and PQR documentation
- Inspection dates and third-party test reports and Stud test reports
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, including AWS and ASME standards
- Maintain detailed, accurate records in support of internal audits and customer requirements
Qualifications
- CWI Certification (AWS QC1 required)
- Familiarity with relevant codes: AWS D1.1, D1.6, B2.1, A2.4, ASME Section IX, AGS-G006
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat
- Basic AutoCAD experience a plus
Hours are:
Monday through Friday – 7am to 3:30pm
The pay is up to $45.00 an hour based on experience
