Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 Special Education Teacher opportunity is available in Saint Johnsbury, VT, for the uping school year on a contract basis. This role provides the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by delivering tailored instructional support and fostering inclusive learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that address the unique needs of students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to coordinate services and promote student success.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and adapt curriculum content to meet diverse learner requirements.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records to ensure goals are being met.
• Provide a supportive and positive classroom environment that encourages social and emotional growth.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification for K-12.
• Experience working with a range of disabilities and diverse student populations.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent munication and organizational skills.
