AHS is hiring a full-time Front Office Coordinator to support daily operations across both locations.
Position Overview
The Front Office Coordinator plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, organized, and efficient experience for patients and providers alike. This individual will work a split schedule between the Winchester and Woburn offices, serving as the first point of contact for patients and supporting both clinical and administrative workflows.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, personable, and thrives in a fast-paced medical practice environment. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a patient-centered mindset are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and provide an excellent first impression, both in person and over the phone
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and rescheduling across both office locations
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and collect co-pays as needed
- Coordinate patient flow to support audiologists and clinical staff
- Maintain accurate patient records within the practice management system
- Handle incoming calls, voicemails, and general inquiries professionally and efficiently
- Support office organization, including supply management and general front-desk operations
- Communicate clearly with patients regarding appointments, paperwork, and next steps
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations across both locations
Requirements
- Prior experience in a medical, healthcare, or professional office setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, patient-focused approach
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
- Comfort working independently and as part of a team
- Willingness and ability to work a split schedule between Winchester and Woburn
