Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Support learners as a Paraprofessional in an elementary school setting, providing essential assistance throughout the academic year from now through June 2026. This full-time contract position offers 32 to 37.5 hours per week, working with a K-12 caseload to help meet diverse student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in implementing instructional activities and classroom management strategies.
- Provide individualized support to students with various learning abilities.
- Monitor and assist with student progress and behavior.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students during classroom activities, transitions, and mealtimes as needed.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or similar support role in schools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children of varying ages and abilities.
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude to foster student growth.
