Catholic Charities Worcester County is seeking a Manager of Maintenance & Working Program to join our team!
The Facilities and Work Program Manager is responsible for the oversight, administration, and maintenance of all Catholic Charities properties, including facility operations, repairs, and all phases of construction projects. This role also leads the agency’s Work Program, which provides job skills training and work experience for participants in our Crozier House residential substance abuse treatment program.
This position ensures that facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained, while also offering meaningful supervision, mentorship, and instruction to Work Program participants. The role collaborates with internal leadership, vendors, and contractors to manage space utilization, plan renovations, support expansions, and oversee facility closures as needed.
Essential Duties:
- Oversee daily operations and long-term planning for all agency facilities.
- Lead all phases of facility maintenance and construction projects, including cost estimates, project timelines, and vendor coordination.
- Supervise facilities staff and participants in the Work Program, ensuring adequate coverage and quality of work.
- Provide hands-on training and mentorship to Work Program participants to support their skill development and workforce reentry.
- Coordinate closely with program leadership to ensure the Work Program aligns with participant goals and agency mission.
- Monitor facilities for safety and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, work assignments, and project progress.
- Develop and manage budgets related to maintenance, repairs, and construction.
- Assist with planning for new site acquisition, space reallocation, and building closure or consolidation.
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safety through awareness, reporting, and safe work practices.
- Perform other related duties as requested.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of facilities management or maintenance experience, including supervision of staff preferred.
- Experience working with vulnerable or at-risk populations preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams, including individuals in recovery.
- Knowledge of building systems, maintenance protocols, and OSHA safety standards.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical labor as needed, , with or without reasonable accommodation..

This is a full-time, salaried position. The expected pay range is $62,000 to $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Eligible for all agency benefits listed below.
