Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in Pittsfield, MA, is seeking a dedicated and licensed School Psychologist to support students across all grade levels, including K-5, grades 6-8, and grades 9-12. This is a contracted position within a school setting, offering an opportunity to apply your expertise in psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation to help improve student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies to support academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling and support services to students as needed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives focused on mental health and wellness.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological testing, special education laws, and behavioral interventions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff and families.
  • Commitment to fostering a safe and supportive learning environment.
