Requirements & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining or upscale casual environment
  • Strong culinary skills and genuine passion for food
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience managing staff
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Must Haves

  • Oversee Kitchen Managers and Back of House staff, ensuring a positive and efficient work environment
  • Support kitchen operations to maintain consistency, quality, and timely service
  • Assist in menu creation, inventory management, and upholding food safety standards
  • Step in for the Head Chef when needed to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction

Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience working in a seasonal, high-volume kitchen
  • Creativity in menu development and plating
  • Knowledge of current culinary trends and techniques
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
