Requirements & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining or upscale casual environment
- Strong culinary skills and genuine passion for food
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing staff
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Must Haves
- Oversee Kitchen Managers and Back of House staff, ensuring a positive and efficient work environment
- Support kitchen operations to maintain consistency, quality, and timely service
- Assist in menu creation, inventory management, and upholding food safety standards
- Step in for the Head Chef when needed to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience working in a seasonal, high-volume kitchen
- Creativity in menu development and plating
- Knowledge of current culinary trends and techniques
- Strong organizational and communication skills
