Job Title: Bench Chemist
Location: Hadley, MA
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

What You’ll Do
- Perform LC and GC testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods.
- Prepare samples, run calibration curves, and ensure system suitability through integration reviews.
- Execute wet chemistry techniques such as pH measurement, titrations, and loss on drying (LOD).
- Conduct first-line instrument maintenance and troubleshooting to keep operations running smoothly.
- Support method validation efforts focusing on accuracy, precision, and detection limits.
- Maintain a clean, organized lab environment and assist with inventory management.
- Draft and review SOPs to uphold compliance and quality standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Master’s degree in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry with 3–5 years of QC lab experience (food or supplement industry preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in HPLC and GC systems, chromatography software (OpenLab, ChemStation), and wet chemistry techniques.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with USP/AOAC methods and cGMP documentation.
- Strong commitment to lab safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with equivalent experience.
- Background in organic chemistry, formulation, or R&D.

This is a Permanent position based out of Hadley, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
