New IHS family in Londonderry, NH is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional to work one-on-one with their daughter, who has complex medical and behavioral needs. She uses a G-tube for nutrition and requires a harness seatbelt while traveling due to difficulty staying seated in the car. They would like the DSP to support her with personal care and community access, including outings to the park and social groups. She has two siblings and a dog in a non-smoking household. They are looking for someone who speaks English and is preferably CPR and First Aid certified. Has a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle. The position pays $20 per hour with a $0.50 per mile reimbursement, 15 hours a week.

All staff must adhere to the NH state law requiring mandated reporting of suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Additionally, staff are required to maintain criminal, motor vehicle and Bureau of Elderly and Adult Services record checks that meet agency standards. Staff are also required to travel and transport clients when applicable. This includes having access to a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license and maintaining personal auto insurance of $100,000/300,000.
