Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position is for a Special Education Teacher skilled in delivering direct services based on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in a K-12 school setting. The role focuses on teaching English Language Arts (ELA) to middle and high school students. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY) and operates Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM to 2:45 PM.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in Special Education instruction
- Ability to implement IEPs effectively
- Strong background in English Language Arts content
- Experience working with middle and high school students

Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct educational services aligned with students IEPs
- Plan and implement ELA curriculum tailored to the needs of special education students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Monitor and document student performance and adjust instruction as needed
