As an Equipment Operator / Laborer, you’ll play a key role in excavation, grading, and hardscape installation projects across residential and commercial sites.

What You’ll Do
- Operate equipment such as skid steers, mini-excavators, and loaders safely and efficiently.
- Perform excavation, trenching, grading, and backfilling for utilities, drainage systems, and foundations.
- Assist with hardscape installations — patios, retaining walls, walkways, and granite steps.
- Load, unload, and organize materials and tools for daily operations.
- Handle manual labor tasks such as raking, compacting, and final grading for clean finishes.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
- Maintain a professional, safety-focused job site with clear communication and teamwork.
Experience & Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in excavation, site work, or hardscaping preferred.
- Skilled in operating heavy equipment — skid steers, excavators, and loaders.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of drainage systems, site grading, and construction layouts a plus.
- Valid driver’s license required (MA hoisting license preferred).
- OSHA-10 certification required or ability to obtain.
- Strong work ethic and ability to perform physical labor in all weather conditions.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to quality workmanship.
