Neurotech Pharmaceuticals is an innovative biopharmaceutical company located in Cumberland, RI and Needham, MA, within Greater Boston’s vast biotechnology landscape. Since our inception more than 20 years ago, we have been developing a proprietary drug delivery platform for treatment of a variety of retinal disorders. Our drug delivery platform - Encapsulated Cell Technology (ECT) platform is designed to deliver genetically modified therapeutics to slow the progression of chronic retinal diseases. Our most advanced program is delivering a neurotrophic factor to treat the orphan disease Macular Telangiectasia Type 2 (MacTel). We are excited to expand our company from a research organization to a commercial entity following recent positive rendering from the FDA.
We are seeking a Director of HCP Marketing who will play a crucial role in preparing and creating a market for and delivering the successful launch of our asset, ENCELTO. Key responsibilities will include executing all HCP marketing initiatives in line with brand strategies and objectives. This role will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Market Access, Commercial Operations, Medical, Sales Training and PRC, as well as other internal and external partners.
Job Requirements
- Support the HCP marketing strategy development and lead tactical execution to drive awareness, education and consideration of NT-501 amongst targeted stakeholders
- Lead the content and promo material development across DSE and branded materials from concept through field pull through by Key Account Managers (KAMs)
- Partner closely with Sales and Commercial Training teams to develop and implement tools and materials that support field sales initiatives, ensuring materials meet sales needs for HCP engagement
- Lead the development of a comprehensive omnichannel plan that engages and continues to drive appropriate education and consideration of ENCELTO across strategic touchpoints for the HCP
- Maintain strong partnership with key cross-functional field partners, sales, market access, and medical affairs, for provider engagement, field insights and market deployment opportunities
- Lead digital channels, including media and performance tracking
- Oversee relationships with agency partners, support Marketing strategy and execute priority tactics, and ensure timely delivery in a launch setting. Responsibilities include annual budget planning, monthly reconciliation, and reallocating resources as necessary
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and insights to inform decision-making, optimize strategies, and ensure successful tactical execution.
- Budget management, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and tracking ROI.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree required
- 7+ years of product marketing experience required
- Minimum 5 years of Pharmaceutical Marketing or Promotions, or relevant commercial experience including Sales, Marketing, or Market Access
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Demonstrated proactive, creative and entrepreneurial approach
- Launch experience for ophthalmology and rare indications experience preferred
- Passion for developing, implementing, and working on successful multichannel campaigns
- Highly curious and analytical mind, with strong ability to synthesize, glean insight and propose direction from market and scientific data; demonstrated ability to build successful and innovative strategy
- Proven ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to drive business results in a heavily matrixed, fast-paced environment; demonstrated success in partnering with the Medical Affairs and Sales organizations
- Outstanding project and budget management skills and experience managing multiple vendors, marketing partners and agency partners
