Gunstock Mountain Resort is looking for some hardy and helpful folks to join our Snowmaking Maintenance Team this summer. Pay rate between $15-18/hr. (Depending on Experience)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:

• Tree Limbing and Brush Clearing along trail edges
• Maintaining the mountain roads & Segway Trails
• Maintenance and repairs of valves and snowguns
• Misc Erosion Control Projects
• Able to operate small equipment and machinery, i.e. tractors, chain saws

Scheduling and work conditions:

Position is mostly Monday through Friday. There are a few weekends that will be required during special events. Must be able to work outdoors during changing weather conditions.

Other Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older with good physical coordination; abiliity to remain in a stationary position 80 % of the time, ability to position oneself low to the ground to clear brush, etc.; ability to regularly move 15 pounds, frequently move 25 pounds and occasionally move up to 50 pounds; ability to work in variable outdoor weather conditions. Must have a valid driver's license.
