Technical/Field Service Customer Support
· Assists customers with instrumentation selection, installation practices based on project requirements/RFQ’s. Liaise with Sales and Engineering departments to realize compelling and competitive solutions to monitoring challenges.
· Provides technical troubleshooting and support for existing installations via phone/email.
· Provides data analysis to assess proper functionality and installation of instrumentation.
Field Service Coordination
· Manages Field Service activities, coordinating requests from customers with GEOKON personnel, and provide field services as needed.
· Prepares quotes and sales orders for field services, and occasional instrumentation products as needed.
Sales/Training Support
· Assists with providing training on the overview and application of GEOKON products and instrumentation in general. This includes in-house training, on-site training, and webinars.
Requirements:
Technical Skills/Knowledge
· Pile design and pile testing
· Slope stability
· Groundwater hydrology
· Understanding and use of various field instrumentation
· Awareness of soil and concrete testing procedures
· Familiarity with multiple aspects of geotechnical engineering
Other Requirements
· Managing and interpreting customer requirements and project applications
· General knowledge of a wide range of Civil Engineering projects and terminology
· Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
· Strong writing capabilities and the skill to write clear, concise technically correct technical documents with high attention to detail
· Ability to exercise a high degree of independent judgment and professionalism
· Comfortable presenting in front of others and fielding technical questions
· Ability to travel 10-20% per year
· Fluent English language required
· Fluent Spanish languish/speaking preferred
