Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering
- 2+ years of professional experience
- Experience with sizing and selecting process equipment for Capitol Projects.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Continuous Fluid Processing such as Chemical Processing or Oil Refining.
- Applicants must be capable of passing pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to scope projects
- Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and P&IDs
- Generate process equipment specifications and line lists
- Generate process information for instruments and develop PSV audit files
- Perform computer simulations
- Interface with other project disciplines and outside vendors
- Author operating manuals and lead operator training for new facilities
- Facilitate and participate on process hazards analysis teams
- Bring solutions to process team members in relation to identified issues/problems
