Asphalt Roller Operator - Experienced

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a reliable experienced asphalt roller operator to join our company team.

Roller Operator Responsibilities: -

• Operate the roller and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment
• Safely operate roller in successive overlapping passes over surfaces to be compacted, rolling asphalt to desired compaction and smoothness
• Participate and promote a team approach and maintain a positive and helpful attitude with team members
• Work in a safe and responsible manner

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Relevant license and safety certification (OSHA10)
• Prior experience operating equipment (roller, screw, compactor)
• Experience with up to 10lb ton
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow orders, especially under pressure
• Ability to work to strict deadlines
• A sound understanding of health and safety codes
• A positive outlook and a willingness to learn

** Sign-On Bonus $2,000 after the first 60 days **

Pay Range: $30 - $45 per hour, Prevailing Wage Rate $75+ per hour
